Grubwit has arrived.

Author: Club Member Roger Grubert

Those who know me would no doubt be able to describe me with two short words ” Gas Bag”.

I am writing a science fiction adventure rescue called the ” Green Fox”.

Green, green, the grass is green – and so is the Fox. How it got to Tasmania? Nobody knows! -including the Fox.

It is now gone. How it was got rid of  is what this story is about.

Eradication.

The story involves, a 1925 Manchester truck, with John De Bruyn as the driver. (John gave me permission to use his name  – but I have yet to ask DeBruyn’s Transport for the use of the company name). Equipement ranging from a homemade version of the Marconi Spark gap transmitter,  the old Krauss steam locomotive on the APT rail, to a state of the art marine rescue vessel called T2 (Titanic 2), help with the evacuation/eradication of the Green Fox. A Canadian skunk who also ended up lost in Tasmania – is also rescued. The setting is on the West Coast of Tassie. Can’t say more – I am seeking help with editing, and copywrite law.

Hit the road Jack – and Jill, hopefully in an early vehicle.

I just read the 1st 100 pages and looked at the pictures….cant see a FOX anywhere…just green trees and paddocks…you need to change the Fox’s colour…..clue..the FOX’S in Tas are real and brown and nothing sticks to their fur….the shop where I got the book said you only printed one copy so I have the only copy….collectors item for sure

And just as an aside…..if on the West Coast its the ABT railway …a more APT name …..and could the FOX be hiding at TEEPOOKANA then….look that up in your Funk and Wagnalls.
Dont forget to mention Peter the Pieman in your follow up story…if FOX’s were more plentiful in the 1800’s he wouldnt have had to turn Canibal
