Cracked Plug Veteran Tour 2019 – Miena to Brighton
A prompt 9.00 o’clock start at Miena, and we are back on the bitumen, for a stop over at the Miena Dam Wall to create another Group photo shoot. A down hill run and leisurely drive along the grassed plains to the Steppes Hall for yet another great morning tea.
Fire ravaged area were again on the forefront, with some helicopter work continuing overhead.
The down hill run to Bothwell was enjoyed by both car and driver. A tour of the Nant Distillery was interesting, before continuing to the local school, where the children were entertained by such intrepid vehicles.
Another shed visit to a local gentleman surely impressed the entrant’s wives with such tidy and well laid sheds. The final run to Brighton for the overnight stop, contained a few downhill runs, and some more challenging uphills, readying drivers for tomorrows challenge into the Strathgordon area.
