John Teniswood has sent me (Webmaster) two emails that I found interesting. I am reproducing them here with his permission

I would like you to know how much I enjoyed the Gordon Fysh photo collection from Spurling. When I first got the Alldays in 1963, Gordon gave me copies of a couple of pictures of the car in 1906-7 (including the line-up outside the Customs House in Hobart in 1907 with young Gordon and older brother Philip standing next to the Alldays).  The car appears in several other photos, including the line up at Longford and at Harland Rise hill climb (near Evandale). I was quite thrilled to see the old girl in her youth!
I also enjoyed the Nigel Bills collection. It was Nigel who fist got me seriously involved with veteran cars and he was and Henry Crocker were instrumental in getting me the Alldays and later the
1922 Daimler TT 4-20 which sadly perished in the  1967 bushfires.
So thank you very much for the web site. I enjoy what I can get at and want to see more.

I would add that I have always been mad about cars, tractors, trains or anything else that had wheels and makes a noise. When I was in the Air Force Reserve I met Nigel Bills and we became firm friends. I think it was in 1963 (could have been ‘62 – could somebody please confirm the date) that Lord Montagu of Beaulieu visited Tasmania and the Veteran Car Club (it may have still been called the Veteran and Vintage Car Club of Tasmania) conducted a rally from Launceston to Hobart. Nigel heard that Henry Crocker was looking for a driver for his 1926 Model T Ford. Would I be interested? Of course! But I had to learn to drive all over again! So that is how I came to join the club some 50 years ago.
There seemed to be more veterans  about then –  I recall two lovely little Hupmobiles, an Orient Buckboard, a Minerva, a Daimler, and a couple of Austins . There were also some great vintage cars, including a Bentley, a Crossley and a couple of Rolls Royces. Where are they now?
